From north Africa and France, raised in Paris, goin back and forth, Dominique started music on his own at the age of 17 (he never thought that you could learn music in school). Starting with guitar, then bass, a little bit of saxophone and keyboards, and even double bass... He first moved to London at 18, and played guitar in a local r&b band called Information, then he went back to France to do gigs in a jazzrock band(e=mc2) on bass. At 21, he entered the band FURIOUS, a crazy funky project between Pfunk, Prince and Fishbone, but noone dared to move and try something abroad. He went back to London to start his own project, a drum, bass, guitar trio with the idea of crossing R&B and Rock, but in a new way... He was tryin' to find serious people, when an old friend guitarist, livin'in LA, heard his demos, and told him that his place wasn't in Europe but in the United States... So he moved right away, and formed a more pop band, the goal being to reach people, not to play underground music only for a little circle of fans... The alchimie seemed perfect... They chose Minneapolis, a town being so rich and open artistically... Amazingly stimulating for their art... My influences are Michael Jackson, Sly Stone, Prince, Police, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Stevie Wonder and all kind of music, even Arabic folklore... My favorite bass players are Jacko pastorius, Stanley Clarck, Marc King and Chucky Booker. For the guitarists : J.Hendrix,George Benson and the Artist...
